1) What insight can be gained from examining Hedda's relationship with another character in the play? Think of significance beyond character and plot; what insight does this give us, as readers, and as thinkers (i.e., cosmology, sociology, psychology)?

2) How should Hedda, ultimately, be evaluated: heroic? Sympathetic? Pathetic? Contemptable? Why?

Consider the characters Nora Helmer and Hedda Gabler Tesman from the Ibsen plays we've studied. Upload one (1) of your extended metaphors, for either character.

Respond critically to at least two (2) of your classmates' posts (i.e., respond in a way that pushes consideration of our class themes, and pushes beyond the "conventional"). Answer any questions that may come up in the ensuing "discussion." Post in a timely manner, so that you can respond in a timely manner.
